In this class, we started off talking about different kinds of writing but mainly focusing on the main one we would be exposed to early on which is rhetoric. Rhetoric is the use of writing, speech, and imagery to persuade the intended audience to feel as if they do. I actually have like all the exercise so far! Getting to choose our own imagery and write a blog on it was not a bad as I thought it would. Definitely feel like I could have done better but I tried to take a different approach on the assignment. We are now starting our major inquiry projects in which seems like a lot of work but I am excited to work with my topic of bullying in academic settings.
I am hoping that I can keep up the enjoyment of the class and not let the arrival of a big time consuming project take over. Hopefully since it is a topic that I was able to chose myself that it won't be as stressful as I am making it out to be.
I hope you'll enjoy it too, and don't get stressed by the project. It's manageable as long as you stay on top of what is due each week. Thanks for your contributions in class.

ReplyDeleteI wasn't excited to hear about a big project either but at least it is not an exam. I think we will actually enjoy this. Not only will we get something from this project, someone else will too!
