The Beginning of My Major Inquiry Project
Luckily, I knew what I wanted to do my topic on and it was helpful going to the library to see how to research it through the resources UNCC gives you. I wasn't sure how to go about find a nonprofit organization based on bullying in schools but thankfully I was able to get everything worked out. Since schools are considered nonprofit organizations, I am thinking that I can work with a specific school in Charlotte Mecklenburg schools in order to hep fight the bullying of students. This way I can work with my major, middle grade education, and also make a difference in the area. I haven't picked which school that I want to work with, but CMS offers information of teachers in the schools that are trying to work on the bullying problems within their school itself. Now that I was able to figure out my issues with NPOs, I believe that I shouldn't have a issue with starting the project

Summary of ENGL 1102 Thus Far
In this class, we started off talking about different kinds of writing but mainly focusing on the main one we would be exposed to early on which is rhetoric. Rhetoric is the use of writing, speech, and imagery to persuade the intended audience to feel as if they do. I actually have like all the exercise so far! Getting to choose our own imagery and write a blog on it was not a bad as I thought it would. Definitely feel like I could have done better but I tried to take a different approach on the assignment. We are now starting our major inquiry projects in which seems like a lot of work but I am excited to work with my topic of bullying in academic settings.
I am hoping that I can keep up the enjoyment of the class and not let the arrival of a big time consuming project take over. Hopefully since it is a topic that I was able to chose myself that it won't be as stressful as I am making it out to be.

Rhetorical Analysis
I wanted to add a picture that had everything to to with rhetorical writing in order to describe the rhetoric in the photo. In this photo, you see a man running around explain that he like rhetorical answers due to the fact that doesn't require any questions and that you are always right. In rhetorical (argumentative) writing, they don't require questions because you can just give your rhetorical answer to anything and everything at any point in time. Finally, you are always right due to the fact that it is an open discussion and you are open on how you took the writing/question. Everyone reading one piece of writing will have their own opinions, thoughts, feelings, and reactions to the text. However, who is to say it's not wrong?

What Kind of Writer/Reader Am I?!
Normally I am not one to be into reading and/or writing. Not to say I am not good at either, just not one of my interests. As a kid in elementary school, I was very into poetry, short stories, and limericks. However, being forced to right so much work that was just time consuming as well as uninteresting became the reason of me losing interest in writing all together. The same goes for reading. Growing up I used to love to read all types of books and stories but when forced to read text required by the school, it wasn't fun anymore. I feel as if it is a burden to my creativity in the fact that I have no desire to express myself in writing to anyone.
If I had to describe the type of writer that I am, I don't think that I could label me as anything. Most of the writing I do now is casual texts amongst friends or emails to professors and my significant other. I once was very creative and still to this day would love to be just like Edgar Allen Poe but seeing as that is not an option, I stick with writing what I have to. Reading the same way. I occasionally pick up a book now and then just for a personal read, but the majority of my reading comes from what is assigned to me. Luckily, I am a very open minded person and look forward to the chance of being able to enjoy writing/reading again. Thus, I am excited to see what this class has in store for me.
